Did You Read The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

I was reading How to think like Leonardo Da Vinci, at the time, The Da Vinci Code was released. I received a phone call one day from a friend, telling me I should read The Da Vinci Code. I started to read the book and my mouth dropped... because the author Dan Brown is in tune with me!

If you read between the lines, Dan Brown is saying the quest to find the Holy Grail is not out there but inside of you. He talks about getting in touch with the masculine and feminine qualities within the self.

Dan Brown writes, when male and female were balanced, there was harmony in the world. When Male and Female were unbalanced, there was chaos. The Da Vinci Code’s message opens our mind to the sacred feminine. The feminine side of our mind is our intuitive mind, and when we bring the masculine and Feminine together within ourselves there will be harmony.

"We live in a patriarchal society meaning the masculine side of our mind is in the forefront. That means both men and women, are identified with their masculine rational logical minds."-Serena Jade

Will you get in touch with your intuitive mind?

Are you ready to balance your mind?

Do You Believe The Brain Is An Organ And Needs To Be Medically Fixed? Or The Mind Is Complex And Needs To Be Understood?

Do You Believe The Brain Is An Organ And Needs To Be Medically Fixed? Or The Mind Is Complex And Needs To Be Understood?

Some people exercise, while others engage in intense workouts. For the past 38 years, I have been deeply committed to fitness and intensely workout. I owned a personal training business, triumphed in bodybuilding competitions, and teach yoga. I maintain a healthy diet and never take my health for granted. However, my physical well-being did not compensate for my mental and emotional challenges. My robust health could not offset the trauma and turmoil I experienced. Serena Jade On Loving Your Body — With that said —

A few years ago, I watched Andrew Solomon, a writer who focuses on politics, culture, and psychology, deliver a TED talk on depression.

In the comment box, I wrote: “Great talk… Is medication the answer? In my experience, no! My dysfunctional upbringing was the cause, and depression was the effect. I have spent years reversing the impact of my unhealthy childhood.”

I appreciated the part in the speech where Andrew mentions, “you relapse and relapse.”

Depression is an important part of healing, because it is telling you issues that were once repressed are coming to the surface and must be brought into one’s conscious mind. Medication will rob you of this precious gift!

In response to the medication issue I expressed, many become defensive when medication is perceived as a weakness. However, that’s not my point. My argument is that transformation requires us to connect with our pain, to comprehend its message. Medication, on the other hand, deprives us of this pain.

We have a tendency to say everything is okay, when the pain is not there. Medication is a mask covering the pain.

Just Like, if your back hurts, your body is telling you something is wrong and needs attention.

Our mind is the same, the pain is telling us something is wrong and needs your attention. However, the answer is not right in front of us. That is where therapy and doing one’s homework can and will, transform the unhealthy mindset, and after years will bring you a serene mind!

I received another response: The person says, I agree in part, but what if it is a chemical problem?

I answer: I feel if doctors viewed my brain years ago, they would have viewed a very different brain than what my brain looks like today. A different state of mind changes the molecules in your brain.

If one goes into the psychotic phase, one needs medication. However, how many of us are going into the psychotic phase?

I came across an article I saved from 15-years ago it says, “Our society’s medical insurance and how pharmaceutical companies attack Freud and Jung, and say we don’t need therapy anymore, and that therapy doesn’t do any good.

Just take these pills.

The whole advance in psychology, all that is thrown away and you simply give people pills for their depression.”

No one could have told me that taking pills years ago would transform me. The pain and my determination to understand myself bestowed upon me the greatest gift: I sculpted myself into a complete individual with a tranquil mind.

“The inner light, the mind, never conflicts with the brain, and is not the brain. The mind and the brain are to be observed as the inner and outer, the metaphysical and physical aspects of the brain.” -Rabbi Berg

Over the past 150 years, our society has witnessed significant advancements in understanding the mind and brain. Psychiatry and psychoanalysis have both evolved considerably. Yet, there remains a stark dichotomy between them.

Psychiatry And The Brain

While psychiatry is derived from the concept of healing the soul, contemporary perspectives often exclude the soul — and even the ego — from consideration. Today’s focus lies predominantly on neuroscience, psychology, biology, and brain chemistry, rather than on the concept of the mind itself.

Contemporary psychiatry suggests that if the brain’s wiring is flawed, resulting in chemical imbalances, these must be corrected medically. This perspective implies that self-awareness is unattainable, emphasizing the need for medical intervention to ‘fix’ the brain.

Psychoanalysis And The Mind

Psychoanalysis involves conscious thoughts, unconscious thoughts, emotions, defense mechanisms, and the soul. Sigmund Freud, the Austrian neurologist who founded psychoanalysis, aimed to increase self-awareness and reduce societal repression.

Do you stand for the Brain is an organ and needs to be medically fixed? Or the mind is complex and needs to be understood?

The Eternal Bond: #116: Are you familiar with the comic book superhero, Dr. Strange?

Dr. Strange is trained as a neurosurgeon and is totally influenced by his rational ego. He gets into a car accident and damages his nerves and ligaments in his hands. Now, his identity as a western doctor is destroyed. Depressed and distraught, he discovers a case where a man completely recovers from a spinal injury. In disbelief, he talks with the miracle man. The man says, he traveled to the east and by changing his mind he was able to heal.

I am in Kathmandu. This site is where Dr. Strange was filmed.

The doctor enters the east and meets with the Ancient One. The ancient sorceress opens the doctor's ego and talks about Chakras, Acupuncture, the Spiritual Soul and surrendering to the Spiritual Forces of the Universe.

Are you ready to open your limited ego to the wealth of knowledge of a mystical kind?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#102: Jupiter Ascending-a look at the Heroine's journey...

(Masculine) -Astronomy tells us Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system. (Feminine)- Astrology tells us Jupiter is about expansion and abundance.

Jupiter Ascending is a new film written and directed by the Wachowski siblings. Jupiter Jones is Cinderella-like. Her father was killed before she was born and now Jupiter and her mother are cleaning ladies. But, Jupiter is a reincarnated Queen. Can she reclaim her throne?

The Wachowski siblings were going for the hero's journey with Jupiter. The hero's journey has been told throughout history that the hero's father is absent from the hero's life. The same sex parent has the most influence in a child's life.

So, in the heroine's journey, the mother figure is the most important. However, there is not that much written about the heroine's journey. All we have are tales of Cinderella, Snow White and they are dealing with stepmothers and sisters. As a society, we don't want to accept there are mothers and sisters who are just as cruel. In real life, the women who endure such cruelty become the caretakers for their elderly parents and who in society have been labeled; Old Maids. But, we are living in the twenty-first century and the caretakers can overcome their fate by an enormous amount of self-knowledge! Then they can use their positive father role model and be effective in the world...the servant becomes the heroine!

Of course, this process takes years of uncovering shame and doubt. The "Good Person" becomes a whole person. They are free from outside influence.

With Jupiter ascending, we don't witness Jupiter asserting her influence. But, nonetheless, I loved the film and I especially loved the ending.

Will you see Jupiter Ascending?

Do you think you can transcend your shame and doubt?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#101: Do you revere your fellow human?

Ananda Spa, India

When I was at Ananda Spa, I loved the gesture of reverence called Anjali mudra. When you walked passed another human you were expected to acknowledge the person.

With your hands pressed together and palms touching, it is known that you bow to the Divine in the other.

The west is missing this very basic but very profound recognition of the other. However, true soul mates/twin flames naturally "see" the Divine spark!

When you walk pass your fellow human, can you acknowledge the person and the Divine energy in them?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#66: Are established New Age believers true to their ego or soul?

In his book, Jung and the New Age, Professor David Tacey states: "It is Jung's belief that the human ego (Personality) must voluntarily serve and attend a larger spiritual mystery. This is in contrast to the widespread popular belief that the spiritual mystery must serve and attend the needs of the ego."

In my experience, people who say they are "Spiritual" are just following along and living a conventional life. Their egos have attained a certain amount of stability and now they want to capitalize on the new spiritual mindset that has been developing for some years now!

In this inauthentic age, the soul is just an avenue to meet their own needs; this is narcissistic!

Years ago, I attended a lecture on the Kabbalah and the Rabbi said it all: People think that relaxation is being spiritual. "To live authentically true to one's soul is following unseen passion and wisdom that doesn't adhere to society's rules."-Serena Jade

The purpose of the ego is to express the soul. After many years, the ego has attained authentic stability, has personal power and becomes autonomous! The ego now can serve their spiritual soul as their authentic self is born- the incarnation of the human with the Divine!

Are you true to your ego or soul?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#65: Is your intuitive mind equal with your rational mind?

We live in a world, where our rational ego minds dominate. What if we lived in accordance with our intuitive mind? What would that look like?

Our rational mind says, we need to abide by the extroverted rules of our social order. We are ruled by our five senses. What we see, hear, touch, taste and smell is the law.

Very logical, objective thought is accepted and never questioned. If one deviates from "the law" and lives by an inner knowing, they are thought to be crazy. Fear, sets in for the people around this person  as that person is reflecting fear in the other.

Living in conjunction with our intuitive mind, opens our lives to an infinite number of possibilities. To be intuitive is to have a sense to look within and pay attention to the information, that is not logical!

"Our rational mind is finite, our intuitive mind is infinite."-Serena Jade

Are you ready to take a  journey to connect your intuitive mind with your rational mind?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#64: Do you have the courage to take the step to the other side of life?

I was walking on the boardwalk in Long Beach, New York on a hazy, hot and humid day two years ago. I was listening to a friend's Ipod and the Moody Blues song, The Other Side of Life began to play.

The song was released in 1986 and I am sure, I have listened to it many times before. But, on that July day, absorbed in my favorite east coast weather, weeks before, I would make my move to California and cross the threshold, the words deeply resonated with me!

The risk the lovers and fighters take, are on the other side. For me, that meant separating from my narcissistic mother so , I could be my own person. As the song goes, you know the only way to get there is to take the very difficult first step. I took that step and the arduous journey on the other side was necessary to ready myself for my deepest love!

Are you wiling to take a risk and investigate the other side of life?
