The Soul Mate Prep Blog#76: Do your self-interests fuel your desires?

The subject of marriage is ingrained in us and as a collective whole, we have been taught to follow our family and friends. I ask you, why do you think your relationship is not going to be like everyone else?

Years ago, Oprah had a psychologist on her show and he said, “When we finish our childhood, we may live happily ever after.” We as a collective whole assume the other person is going to complete us, but that is our job!

The great Joseph Campbell said the Troubadours of the 13th century understood love at the level of the heart. The centuries that followed changed our collective- mind in the WEST, where we can pick our own mate instead of the church and or our family picking for us. Mr. Campbell states, “Love at the heart is NOT primarily of self-interest.” Our collective society is primarily operating on self-interests and still following our family.

"We live in a society, where it is acceptable to take a pill and one is cured! Attachments fuel Self-interests and this is not the heart level!"-Serena Jade

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#75: Doesn't it sound great to care for each other?

In my last post, I talk about one of two questions we adhere to when looking for a mate...The Soul Mate Prep Blog: The Soul Mate Prep Blog#74: What question do you a...: All of us unconsciously ask one of two questions, when we seek out a potential partner. When we become interdependent, we want to care for another. What does this mean?

First: we need to care for our self.
Second: you would want to nurture your partner. Cook them meals, think about their feelings, support them in their goals.
Third: you would encourage a healthy existence to live a long life together!

However, if one is always nurturing the other and the other not caring about them, it is not healthy.

Do you want to be true lovers and care about the other?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#74: What question do you ask when you are on a date?

All of us unconsciously ask one of two questions, when we seek out a potential partner. We either ask: what can I do for you? This is the co-dependent. Or what can the other person do for me? This is the dependent.

Do you think these questions are healthy?

We unconsciously set up a situation where we are not on the same team. This creates the actor of love.

Do you want to transform your question?

In order to transform, we need to be truly autonomous/independent. Then we can ask: What can we do for each other. Doesn't that question sound better?  Now, we are interdependent and become true lovers!

Do you want to attract a true lover?

"Israel is celebrating a holiday, equivalent to St. Valentine’s Day.The people from the Kabbalah Center and I make a spiritual journey to an ancient rabbi’s tomb to pray. The Soul Mate Prep Blog#72: Are we immortal?

When my father died, I could not accept we live and then just die. It did not make sense to me.

Most people accept one of two thought systems, either this unknown thing called the soul goes to heaven or we just die and that is it.

I did not adhere to either of these thoughts when my father died. Not to mention, my father died months after Chris and I stopped crossing paths and we were waking each other up to our spiritual nature. But, that is my book Charismatic Connection, you might want to read it!

In the years after my father's death, I began to consciously wake up to my own soul. My soul which is intangible has been here many times before.

My father always used to say to my mother, "I was here before." He was waking up to his spiritual soul.

I thought the movie, I Origins portrayed the ancient wisdom of reincarnation very well.

Don't you want to know what happens when we die and not just assume we perish or this thing called the soul goes to heaven?

Are you ready to get in touch with your own soul?
