The Soul Mate Prep Blog#14: Do you connect Hart to Hart?

In 1979, Hart to Hart became a regular TV series I enjoyed. Actors Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers play Jonathan and Jennifer Hart. He is a self-made millionaire, she is a writer, together they moonlight as amateur detectives.

The couple exudes romance to its exalted form. In 1979 I was unconsciously drawn to their first-class relationship. I knew I wanted a relationship just like the Harts!

I just finished viewing the first season and I am astonished. Now, I consciously know what the Harts exude...

The Harts respect one another and there are no power struggles between them. It is a breath of fresh air to view a couple flirting with each other and working as a team. They are devoted to one another and it shows. The Harts are truly a romantic, loving, devoted couple!

"It has been 37 years since I first saw Hart to Hart and after a long journey to know-me. I know, it is very possible for me to acquire such an interaction with another!"- Serena Jade

Did you ever see Hart to Hart?

Do you want a relationship like the Harts?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#13: What is a functional family?

In a functional family, life works. We are able to perceive in the here and now [all our needs are being met].We can think for ourselves, rather than being told what to think. We can feel and not be told what to feel. We have the freedom to choose what we desire without pressure from our parents on what they desire for us. We have the freedom to be our true self with clear boundaries.

In order for the above to happen, both mother and father need to be mature.

Maturity means we have graduated from our family of origin, and have become our own person, with clear ego boundaries. We can relate to our family of origin without being fused or joined to them. We are our own person, where we can move away from them without guilt or move near without absorption, this means we are emotionally free.

Do you think maturity is role modeled in our society?

There is an age old saying, "Women mature faster than men." Women are raised to feel connected to their nurturing nature more than men. However, maturity has nothing to do with feeling. Maturity is a profound sense of self, separate from our family of origin.

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#12: What do you think of Islam?

The Dome of the Rock: Jerusalem, Israel

"I think the Muslim call to prayer is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world."-Serena Jade

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe8qRj12OhY

Muhammad, the prophet was born in Mecca (Saudi Arabia) in the year 570 of the common era. Muhammad married by the age of 25 and fathered several children. However, he was unfilled with the polytheistic worship of many Gods around him.He sought solitude in the desert.

Around the age of 40, Muhammad was in a cave meditating in the middle of the desert. An angel appeared to him and said, "read in the name of your Lord." This was the first profound message he received from the Divine.

Ten years later, Muhammad went on a night journey and ascended to heaven in the company of angels. From Mecca he traveled to Jerusalem, where the shrine of The Dome of the Rock is today and prayed...

He lifted his mind up to Heaven and received the Divine's instruction to pray 5 times a day.

Muhammad was in touch with his soul and received Divine wisdom. Can you appreciate Muhammad's devotion and learn more about Islam?

Do you think the Muslim call to prayer is beautiful?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#10: Is a Soul Mate relationship for you?

Most people think a soul mate is a relationship where perfect bliss takes place. That fantasy can be reality but it takes a tremendous amount of knowing one's self in order for that to happen.

Your personality has to acquire a partnership with your own soul in order to mate with one of your soul's mates. When we can create this partnership with ourselves, then we can mate with our soul's mates in heavenly bliss!

With that said...How many of you really want a soul mate relationship?

By just observing life, most people want someone there to fulfill a void,to survive and to procreate. It might sound very romantic being in a state of heavenly bliss. But as a (whole) most people just want to survive.

Are you ready to take on the huge responsibility to know yourself?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#9: Do you think you are okay?

In his book, Further Along The Road Less Traveled, M. Scott Peck, M.D. says..."Because people who think they are okay do not come to psychotherapy. It is the people who think they are not okay, come."

Psychotherapy still has a stigma in our society, and if you entered a therapist office, chances are, you might considered yourself less than. However, it is the opposite, the people who still think of psychotherapy as a lesser form, than let's say cardiology, are in denial of their mental health.

Why should one think they are okay mentally?

Making a study of ourselves is the best solution to our society. Our minds are so complex and if we don't have an avenue to explore, we just cough it up as, it is just who I am.

However, it is just half of who you are. We need to find our other half, and it is not in the form of another person!

How devoted are you to acquire self-knowledge?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#8: Are you living life from your emotions?

My whole life so far, I have been living life through my emotions. If you take a look at the image above, you will read... Live by the Sun, Love by the Moon.

The moon represents our emotions.Instead of living by my sun, which represents the ego, I have been letting my empathy(emotions) for other people get in the way of my true potential.

The poor-me's of society are attracted to me, they seek me out to give them attention and elicit empathy. However, the same empathy I give to others, I have not been able to give to myself.

I am finally giving empathy to me! I am living by my ego and drawing an emotional line around me so other people know not to cross.

Are you living life from your emotions?

Are you mentally drawing in your mind a line of what you will do and what you will not do?
