The Soul Mate Prep Blog#21: Are you sweeping the garbage out of your life?

Are you breaking the cycle?

In my own experience, one has to break the cycle inwardly.Whatever unhealthy thought/emotional system and behaviors we encounter growing up need to be transformed within. This takes a certain amount of knowledge and determination. However, once achieved the debris is not just brushed under the rug but swept up and thrown out!

Do you have the tenacity to stick to such a quest?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#20: What is the difference between Pure-Desire vs.Longing?

Pure desire: is authentic and you are worthy of all good things.Your mind and emotions are working as a team.In your mind's eye, you are envisioning abundance and are looking forward to watching the overflowing of riches manifest. You are at a place of no doubt!

Longing: is a desperate yearning, wanting.A despair that if you don't have such and such, you feel like you are not going to survive. You are full of doubt and unworthiness, your mind and emotions are not on the same team.

Hinduism and Buddhism talk about being non-attached and being attached-leads to suffering.Non-attachment is the authentic desire.Attachment says,we desire a certain result and fear the result will not be obtained.

Clearly attachment is full of doubt and non-attachment exudes confidence. After years and years of trying to figure this wisdom out...

In my life, if I didn't care one way or the other that means I was detached- life flowed. However, when I yearned as opposed to a pure-desire, life didn't bring me my desired result because I was full of unworthiness and lack!

Being detached should not be how this wisdom works because if one is following their soul's wisdom, having the attitude one doesn't care is not suitable for living from a deep place. So, detachment should mean- a sense of being alive with the mind and emotions working together, where one knows they are worthy and knows of no lack = the ultimate-this is the law of attraction!

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#17: What is a Mezuzah?

A Mezuzah is a holy prayer,"Hear o' Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one," and is encased in a decorative covering.

A Mezuzah is placed on the front door and inside the doors of a Jewish home.It is said in the book of Deuteronomy, "place the Shema on the knob posts of your house." Every time you look upon the Mezuzah, you are reminded of the Divine's presence within and without.

Do you want a blessing for your home?

Place a holy prayer on the front door and connect with the Divine within and without!

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#16: Are you into Couples Therapy?

Last night, I was watching a cable TV series called Couples Therapy.Five couples living in a California resort and willing to talk about their problems with a psychotherapist.

Listening to these people talk about their family dysfunction and they and (we) expect to have a great relationship?

How can we live happily ever after, if we come from such
dysfunction?

I am on this earth for 47 years and in my own experience, we must understand our family dysfunction and our role in it, before we enter a relationship with another.I know this goes against what we have been taught. However, if I didn't take the time to be an explorer of my own personal history, there was no way another person can make up for what my family could not provide for me!

"We need to be in a relationship with our self before we enter a relationship with another."-Serena Jade

Are you willing to be an explorer of your history?

Are you willing to be alone to get in touch with you?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#15:Politically, we as a social order would say,"it is Okay" to love your body at any size, However, is it really?

Drop Dead Diva is a cable TV show. Deb a model, dies, goes to heaven and hits the wrong button and comes back to earth in Jane's body; who is an overweight lawyer. The show reminds me of the film Heaven Can Wait, the 1980's remake of a guy who dies but wasn't supposed to die and his soul comes back to earth in a body of a football player.

Last week, I posted a question on the Drop Dead Diva facebook page. Jane's soul has been in heaven and now comes back on earth. I ask, what do you think of Jane's soul coming back in a fit and sexy body?

I received a response..."I think that completely defeats the point of the show. The idea is to show that big and beautiful people everywhere, that body love is good for all shapes and sizes. Also, what does my link have to do with the question or the show?"

When I read the response I immediately thought I offended someone. Politically, the right answer would be it is okay to love your body at any size. However, being overweight is a sign that the person is eating too much. It is not okay! We as a social order would not say to someone, "it is okay to drink alcohol to an excess." Would we?

At first, I wasn't going to respond but I thought about it and I wrote-To truly love your body, one needs to love it from the inside out. That means "shame and guilt," need to come out in the open.Once that inside connection happens, one will take good care of their body.

Then I addressed the question: what does the link to my website have to do with the question or the show? I answered: the show is about Deb's soul in a different body.Do you desire a soul mate?

A soul mate is a soul, one has loved across time. The soul comes back on earth in a different body.Do you think you can recognize one of your soul's mates?

Are you getting in touch with your shame and guilt?

Do you think you can recognize your soul's mates?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#14: Do you connect Hart to Hart?

In 1979, Hart to Hart became a regular TV series I enjoyed. Actors Robert Wagner and Stephanie Powers play Jonathan and Jennifer Hart. He is a self-made millionaire, she is a writer, together they moonlight as amateur detectives.

The couple exudes romance to its exalted form. In 1979 I was unconsciously drawn to their first-class relationship. I knew I wanted a relationship just like the Harts!

I just finished viewing the first season and I am astonished. Now, I consciously know what the Harts exude...

The Harts respect one another and there are no power struggles between them. It is a breath of fresh air to view a couple flirting with each other and working as a team. They are devoted to one another and it shows. The Harts are truly a romantic, loving, devoted couple!

"It has been 37 years since I first saw Hart to Hart and after a long journey to know-me. I know, it is very possible for me to acquire such an interaction with another!"- Serena Jade

Did you ever see Hart to Hart?

Do you want a relationship like the Harts?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#13: What is a functional family?

In a functional family, life works. We are able to perceive in the here and now [all our needs are being met].We can think for ourselves, rather than being told what to think. We can feel and not be told what to feel. We have the freedom to choose what we desire without pressure from our parents on what they desire for us. We have the freedom to be our true self with clear boundaries.

In order for the above to happen, both mother and father need to be mature.

Maturity means we have graduated from our family of origin, and have become our own person, with clear ego boundaries. We can relate to our family of origin without being fused or joined to them. We are our own person, where we can move away from them without guilt or move near without absorption, this means we are emotionally free.

Do you think maturity is role modeled in our society?

There is an age old saying, "Women mature faster than men." Women are raised to feel connected to their nurturing nature more than men. However, maturity has nothing to do with feeling. Maturity is a profound sense of self, separate from our family of origin.

"The greatest gift you can give your child is a functional YOU."-Serena Jade

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#12: What do you think of Islam?

The Dome of the Rock: Jerusalem, Israel

"I think the Muslim call to prayer is one of the most beautiful sounds in the world."-Serena Jade

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fe8qRj12OhY

Muhammad, the prophet was born in Mecca (Saudi Arabia) in the year 570 of the common era. Muhammad married by the age of 25 and fathered several children. However, he was unfilled with the polytheistic worship of many Gods around him.He sought solitude in the desert.

Around the age of 40, Muhammad was in a cave meditating in the middle of the desert. An angel appeared to him and said, "read in the name of your Lord." This was the first profound message he received from the Divine.

Ten years later, Muhammad went on a night journey and ascended to heaven in the company of angels. From Mecca he traveled to Jerusalem, where the shrine of The Dome of the Rock is today and prayed...

He lifted his mind up to Heaven and received the Divine's instruction to pray 5 times a day.

Muhammad was in touch with his soul and received Divine wisdom. Can you appreciate Muhammad's devotion and learn more about Islam?

Do you think the Muslim call to prayer is beautiful?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#10: Is a Soul Mate relationship for you?

Most people think a soul mate is a relationship where perfect bliss takes place. That fantasy can be reality but it takes a tremendous amount of knowing one's self in order for that to happen.

Your personality has to acquire a partnership with your own soul in order to mate with one of your soul's mates. When we can create this partnership with ourselves, then we can mate with our soul's mates in heavenly bliss!

With that said...How many of you really want a soul mate relationship?

By just observing life, most people want someone there to fulfill a void,to survive and to procreate. It might sound very romantic being in a state of heavenly bliss. But as a (whole) most people just want to survive.

Are you ready to take on the huge responsibility to know yourself?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#9: Do you think you are okay?

In his book, Further Along The Road Less Traveled, M. Scott Peck, M.D. says..."Because people who think they are okay do not come to psychotherapy. It is the people who think they are not okay, come."

Psychotherapy still has a stigma in our society, and if you entered a therapist office, chances are, you might considered yourself less than. However, it is the opposite, the people who still think of psychotherapy as a lesser form, than let's say cardiology, are in denial of their mental health.

Why should one think they are okay mentally?

Making a study of ourselves is the best solution to our society. Our minds are so complex and if we don't have an avenue to explore, we just cough it up as, it is just who I am.

However, it is just half of who you are. We need to find our other half, and it is not in the form of another person!

How devoted are you to acquire self-knowledge?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#8: Are you living life from your emotions?

My whole life so far, I have been living life through my emotions. If you take a look at the image above, you will read... Live by the Sun, Love by the Moon.

The moon represents our emotions.Instead of living by my sun, which represents the ego, I have been letting my empathy(emotions) for other people get in the way of my true potential.

The poor-me's of society are attracted to me, they seek me out to give them attention and elicit empathy. However, the same empathy I give to others, I have not been able to give to myself.

I am finally giving empathy to me! I am living by my ego and drawing an emotional line around me so other people know not to cross.

Are you living life from your emotions?

Are you mentally drawing in your mind a line of what you will do and what you will not do?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#7: Do you like to Dance?

The Dance by William Bouguereau

Dancing is not only a great form of exercise, it is an avenue to get your sexual and abundant area of your body flowing.

What does this mean?

In the ancient Hindu tradition we have 7 centers of our body that correspond to different functions in our life.Dancing stimulates the second area of our body:the lower abdomen between the navel and the genitals.

If you have blockages in this area from social conditioning, psychologically your mind is in the suffering and sacrifice mode.Dancing helps the blood flow in this area and life will begin to help you receive more abundance and fulfillment!

Will you start dancing today?

Are you ready to receive abundance and fulfilment?

I am called the Bird of Paradise.People call me magnificent and joyful.I live in an ideal state of mind, I am free.I am referred to as Paradise itself!

I ask you my dear friends, are you bringing your mind into a state of freedom?

"The less self-awareness a person has, the more he is unfree. That is to say, the more he is controlled by inhibitions, repressions, childhood conditioning, which he has consciously "forgotten" but still drive him unconsciously...he is unfree."-Rollo May,PH.D.

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#4: Do You Think Someone Half Way Around the World is Like You?

Someone who works in the financial sector knows if the stock market drops in China, that sell off is going to effect the markets on every continent.

So, why is it that we can't "see" our world as interdependent?

I think people get caught up with what their government is doing without taking a step back and see people on all continents face the same daily struggles.

When are we going to "see" someone in another country as our people?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#3: Do You Think Your Mind and Soul are More Important Than Your Body?

"When we are young and don't cultivate a healthy lifestyle, we will grow older and our bodies will reflect the neglect."-Serena Jade

Our body should be very important to us.When we are young, we don't realize our muscles need attention. After the age of 30, if we don't lift weights our muscles will atrophy.

By the time we hit middle age, our bodies will show signs of aging. However, if we commit to a work out program consisting of (heavy) weights and cardio, when we are in our twenties. We are better inclined to have an attractive body by the time middle age is upon us!

Are you ready to love your body?

If not, maybe unconsciously you feel you are not worth it?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#2: Are you buying into Men and Women are Opposing Opposites?

When are we, as a society going to accept men and women are NOT different?

If we see ourselves as different at the personality level, how are we going to unite at the deeper level?  "Connecting with another's soul is not a superficial union." -Serena Jade

If we have the mindset so and so is different from me, because they are the opposite sex, then how are we to accept the deeper part of them? We can't!

In the soul mate order, the souls are eternally connected. The soul's recognition doesn't know of the world of duality because the soul is made up of the same substance.

Are you ready to change your mindset that men and women are not different?

Are you ready to identify with the opposite inside your own personality?

The Soul Mate Prep Blog#1:Are You Embracing all Religions?

Do you know about the history of your religion? Do you know about all the world's religions past and present?

"I feel if one understands the world's religious stories, we can bring the world closer."- Serena Jade

Understanding Judaism is a must to understand Christianity and Islam. Zoroastrianism is a must to understand how Judaism incorporated the idea of a Messiah, the Resurrection of the dead, the day of judgement, and heaven and hell into the Jewish belief system, which in turn influenced Christianity and Islam.

Hinduism also is influenced by Zoroastrianism.Zoroaster's wisdom was carried to the Indus Valley from the people of Persia, which in turn influenced Buddhism, Sikhism, Jainism, Taoism and Confucianism.

Do you see a connection?

All of the religions have a leader who were in touch with the mystery to their own being and the Divine. However, their audience falls short to know their wisdom.

The word "Religion" comes from the Latin, to bind us back to our Divine origin. This is what all religions on the deepest level is supposed to do, bring us back to ourselves, this in turn will bring us back to humanity!

Are you ready to bring the world closer?
